Valley View

Valley View and Gainesville are cities in Cooke County. Gainesville is part of the Texoma region and is an important Agri-business center. Gainesville has a zoo, a historic train station, and a 45- acre fully integrated soccer complex. It has a miniature one-quarter-sized replica steam engine passenger train, which was disassembled from its former location and then reassembled in Leonard Park for viable transportation for up to 50 passengers for tours around the Park. Valley View is 30 minutes north of Denton and is served by the Valley View Independent School District. Sports events play a large role in the community. It is a great small town to raise a family in.
